Overview

Do you have good organizational skills and a commitment to personal customer service? If so, our family-run Financial Planning firm has an excellent opportunity for you to join our team as an administrative professional in our office. As an Administrative Associate at our Edmonton office, you will be the first contact within our office and on the phone for our clients.

The position is Part-time Salary is $20 - $23/hour which is negotiable on experience.

Hours Wednesday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm

What your day might look like:

  • Manage front desk responsibilities, including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette
  • Direct incoming calls received and provide clients with information about their accounts.
  • Pulls charts used for daily appointments, file documents, reports, and other correspondence.
  • Correspondence with back-office teams if account issues arise.
  • Manage the appointment schedule to minimize canceled appointments and vacancies.
  • Perform general office duties and provide administrative support.

What you need to be successful:

  • An ability to follow direction effectively and work well in a team environment
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a reception position is an asset but not required.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and a publishing program.
  • A professional approach to customer service
  • Effective problem-solving skills and a creative approach to situations
  • Detailed oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written english communication skills

This position is integral to maintaining efficient office operations while providing excellent support to staff and clients. We value candidates who demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a proactive approach to their work.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
