Technical Sales Representative

Job Summary
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Guelph, ON. The Salesperson will be responsible for a territory consisting of an existing customer base and opportunity to develop new customers. You will be providing product and/or technical knowledge and value-added support. Daily tasks include managing sales pipelines, conducting meetings with potential customers, achieving sales targets, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively present and demonstrate products to customers
- Experience with strategic planning and meeting sales goals
- Self-motivation, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently
- Knowledge of the manufacturing or tooling industry is an asset
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally to meet clients
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business or a related field is a plus
Requirements
- No sales experience necessary, however a strong machining background is preferred
- Provide timely, technical support and problem resolution for customers.
- Support customers with processes and applications
- Work with Vendors and customers in evaluating and selecting products.
- Create and execute product test opportunities, documents test progress and report results.
- Recommend products that meets the customers needs.

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
