**Job Description and responsibilities**

Alltech Western Canada is looking for a highly motivated individual to join the team as a Technical Sales Representative. In this role, you will be part of the Western Canadian sales team to maintain and grow the sales relationships with existing clients. As well as:

- Identify and obtain new prospective clients.
- Develop sales presentations, proposals, or other materials to illustrate benefits from use of good or service.
- Consult with clients after sale to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
- Assess market conditions and competitors' activities and develop an awareness of emerging markets and trends.
- Develop and maintain technical product or service knowledge to explain features to clients and answer questions about goods or services.
- Develop, implement, and report on sales strategies to achieve business goals.
- 35 hours work/week

This role is extremely customer centric requiring the best management, product, and overall enterprise solutions to bring value to primary producers and businesses alike.

**Minimum Experience required**
- A related university degree or college diploma (eg. Animal science, animal biology, etc.)

**The remuneration package in this position will include the following**:

- CDN salary $68,000 annually
- Competitive benefits package: Dental and medical
- Two weeks’ annual vacation.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $68,000.00 per year
