Winright Law is looking for a full-time real estate paralegal / conveyancer with a minimum of 1-3 years of conveyancing experience, and familiarity with real estate and corporate law. Candidates with the following skill sets would be preferred:

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills;
  • Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work well in a high-pressure environment;
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize;
  • Excellent computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google products;
  • Great organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy;
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced office and willingness to help out where needed;
  • Willing to learn about real estate, business, and wills and estates;
  • Is passionate and wants to grow with our law firm, long-term, and work in a vibrant fast-paced environment with a great team culture

Responsibilities

  • Manage property transactions, including purchases, sales, and refinances from start to finish.
  • Prepare, review, and finalize legal documents such as contracts and transfer documents.
  • Conduct title searches, property due diligence, and registrations.
  • Communicate with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate closings and manage transaction timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
