Qualifications Minimum 4+ years of experience in real estate law or conveyancing Proficiency in English both verbal and written Familiarity with the British Columbia land title system and the Land Title Office processes Exceptional organizational and time management skills Meticulous attention to detail Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Full computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Suite Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously Adaptable and productive in a challenging work environment Responsibilities Preparing conveyance for review by the lawyer or senior paralegal Conducting title searches and due diligence investigations Reviewing real estate documents, including purchase agreements, covenants and leases and identifying material terms Drafting simple real estate documents Communicating with clients, real estate agents, and other parties involved in transactions Coordinating and facilitating real estate closings Managing and organizing physical and electronic files Assisting with the preparation of legal documents and filings Handling client inquiries and providing updates on case progress Maintaining accurate records and documentation Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations Providing support to lawyers and senior paralegals as needed Handle administrative tasks such as filing, organizing, and scheduling Proficiency Segev LLP utilizes various applications and programs to enhance our legal services. While familiarity with the following is beneficial, training will be provided: GoVeyance (Digital conveyancing Solution) NetDocuments (Document Management System) Appara (Digital Corporate Maintenance System) CosmoLex (Accounting and Billing Platform) DocuSign (E-Signatures) Salary $50,000 - $85,000 depending on experience.
