McAtee Psychology is hiring a Calgary-based therapist with a special interest in Women's Health

McAtee Psychology is a collaborative psychology practice in SW Calgary, providing counseling and assessment services to neurotypical and neurodivergent children, teens, and adults. We are currently looking for a Calgary-based Registered Psychologist, Provisional Psychologist, or Registered Social Worker to grow our Women's Health Services.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled registered psychologist or clinical social worker, with counselling experience and a special interest in supporting women's mental health. About The Role:

Our ideal candidate offers psychoeducation and support for life transitions and challenges uniquely affecting women, including infertility, pre- and post-natal changes, parenting stress, hormonal shifts, and the mental health impacts of menstrual-related mood concerns (e.g., PMDD) and peri/menopause. Experience in addressing co-occurring conditions such as depression, anxiety, burnout, ADHD, and other common concerns related to women's health would be considered a strong asset. The right fit for our team will also share our clinic's commitment to leadership in neurodiversity-affirming care and demonstrate a passion for working collaboratively within a supportive team environment.

You will be working with both neurotypical and neurodivergent clients, with the opportunity to develop a caseload that reflects your clinical interests and areas of expertise. As a member of a private practice, you will also play an active role in working with our marketing and leadership team to grow awareness of your services and build a sustainable caseload.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting a combination of services aligned with per: individual counselling; parent consultation and strategies

• Offering personalized counselling and general assessments designed to support women's health and wellbeing.
• Maintaining morning and afternoon availability for counselling services
• Working with the marketing team to promote your services and build your caseload
• Maintaining a working knowledge of all services provided by McAtee Psychology
• Providing ideas on how to enhance the counselling process ideas to enhance the delivery and accessibility of women's health services

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Family and Couples Therapy, or a related field.
• Provisional or Full Registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP)
• Current registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
• Experience:
• Minimum 2 years working with females in a therapeutic setting
• Training and experience implementing multiple evidence-based therapeutic approache
