This engineering role is essential for driving efficiency and innovation within our organization. By developing and maintaining automation, this position helps streamline operations and improve efficiency, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality products and platform services. This role is integral to our goal of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles to automate various tasks, configurations, deployments, and self-healing

  • Implement and manage infrastructure as code principles to streamline and scale infrastructure management

  • Integrate Ansible automation into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous delivery and deployment

  • Proven hands-on experience in writing, optimizing, and fixing Ansible playbooks and roles

  • Understanding of infrastructure as code principles and practices

  • Experience with version control systems like Git

  • Knowledge of hardened automation techniques, such as vaulting secrets, RBAC, and encrypted communications

Required Qualifications:
  • Last 2+ years of professional experience in production environment with a similar role

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps principles, development methodologies that emphasize collaboration and efficiency for delivering new features

  • Practical experience developing Ansible playbooks and provisioning Azure Cloud Services and writing Terraform

Salary range is expected to be between

$83,400.00 CAD - $133,400.00 CAD.
