As a Lead Cloud Network Engineer, you'll be at the heart of designing, implementing, and optimizing network infrastructure across on-prem OpenText datacenters and cloud environments, including leading hyperscaler platforms. You'll collaborate with DevOps teams, cloud architects, and infrastructure experts to build scalable, automated, and efficient networking solutions.

  • Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure on hyperscaler platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Build highly available, scalable, and secure networking solutions for on-prem datacenters and cloud environments using industry best practices.
  • Develop and maintain Terraform scripts to automate provisioning and configuration of networking resources across multiple cloud platforms.
  • Work with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI, etc.) to implement pipeline integration and continuous deployment of network resources.
  • Monitor network performance across on-prem and cloud platforms, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime, while analyzing capacity and health.
  • Recommend and plan improvements to enhance the existing network environment.
What You Need to Succeed
  • Hands-on experience with network technologies and design best practices.
  • Extensive experience with network devices – ideally around 10 years working with a variety of hardware and technologies.
  • Strong background in Network Engineering – typically 10+ years designing, implementing, and troubleshooting network solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with software-defined networking (SDN) – at least 5 years working with platforms like VMware NSX, Juniper, Cisco, or similar.
  • Strong background in designing and managing networking solutions for large-scale on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with software-defined networking (SDN) and related technologies.
  • Experience supporting complex technical environments with a professional, collaborative approach.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to present technical recommendations clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to provide 24/7 support for a highly available and resilient network infrastructure through a regular on-call rotation.
