Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supervisor to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to manage various aspects of store operations. This role requires effective communication and organizational skills to foster a productive work atmosphere while driving sales and maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering, stocking, and merchandising products.
  • Provide training and development for new employees, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Conduct employee orientation and performance evaluations, offering constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Handle payroll processing and bookkeeping tasks to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Lead recruitment efforts by interviewing candidates and making hiring decisions.
  • Implement effective sales strategies to meet store goals while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Supervise staff during shifts, ensuring efficient workflow and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Maintain a clean, organized store environment that enhances the shopping experience for customers.
  • Utilize retail math for pricing strategies and sales management to optimize profitability.

Skills

  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and supervising staff.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
  • Proficient in negotiation, conflict resolution, and employee training & development.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems, POS systems, and retail operations.
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, cash handling, bookkeeping, and payroll processes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
