Adecco is actively seeking a qualified candidate to join our client's team in overseeing operations across their retail locations. This role involves managing staff, ensuring efficient store operations, maintaining inventory, and delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will also focus on maximizing sales, meeting financial targets, and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Staff Management:


• Recruiting, training, and supervising staff, with accountability across all on-site store managers includes hiring, onboarding new employees, and providing ongoing training in product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service. Also involves coaching, talent development planning, and performance discussions


• Managing staff performance expectations, conducting performance reviews, and providing real-time feedback to improve team performance


• Motivating staff and creating a positive, productive work environment to boost morale and drive sales

Operations and Customer Service:


• Overseeing daily tasks such as scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and POS/cash handling


• Managing inventory strategically: maintaining optimal stock levels based on demand, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste


• Ensuring stores are well-organized, clean, and visually appealing, in coordination with store managers


• Maintaining accurate retail pricing and approving tools and sales flyers to support promotional activities


• Enforcing health and safety regulations, company policies, and legal requirements


• Ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints/escalations, and providing excellent service


• Building customer relationships and fostering a knowledgeable, welcoming environment to encourage repeat business


• Collaborating cross-functionally with Supply Chain Operations for seamless support across locations


• Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely product delivery and effective inventory management


• Reporting regularly on store performance, sales data, and operational issues, while monitoring industry trends and identifying growth opportunities

Sales and Financial Management:


• Meeting sales targets by achieving goals, maximizing revenue, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs)


• Analyzing sales data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and strategies to boost sales


• Managing budgets effectively by tracking expenses, controlling costs, and ensuring adherence to budget

Qualifications:


• Minimum 5 years' experience successfully leading retail stores and multi-site teams


• College degree/diploma or relevant technical/vocational training preferred


• Bilingualism is considered an asset


• Demonstrated experience driving sales and profitability through strong customer service, merchandising, product knowledge, and consultative selling; healthcare industry experience is an asset
