Construction Painter

Allstar Waterproofing a division of Allstar Holdings are seeking an exterior painter to fill the position for their Vancouver location.

Location: 220 Victoria Drive suite 100-Vancouver, BC V5L 0C7

Various locations within Vancouver area.

Hourly rate: $29.00 to 30.00 hourly for 40 hours a week (To be negotiated)

Overtime: As per BC labour laws.

Terms of employment: Permanent employment /Full time

Hours of work: Day & Early Morning

Start date: As soon as possible

Overview

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted
  • Repair cracks and holes
  • Mix paint to desired colour and texture
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging
  • Apply paint and other materials and finishes to exterior surfaces

Experience and specialization

  • Surface preparation experience

  • Drywall taping/patching

  • Water/hydro blasting
