We are hiring for this position out of our Vancouver office. Successful candidates who apply outside of these areas will be expected to relocate and reside in a location that is within a commutable distance.

Role Overview
Primarily responsible for the efficient coordination of timely and accurate responses to inquiries from various government agencies. Oversees all activities involved in the end-to-end process of government demand inquiries.

About The Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of professional work experience within a Financial Institution in Canada.
  • Post secondary education.
  • Working expereince with Microsoft Excel required.
  • Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of requests and information.
  • Ability to work independently but also as a team and cross-functionally.
  • Adaptability and openness to navigating change.
  • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Sound knowledge and judgement around handling confidential, private, and sensitive customer data.
  • Problem-solving and idea contributor.
  • Excellent communication skills.

About The Day-to-Day

  • Intake of inquiries (by fax, email, and regular mail).
  • Scanning of mail received in Vancouver office.
  • Triaging of initial request and engaging appropriate internal business lines on searches.
  • Conducting searches of processor portals to support demands relating to the Cards & Payments business line.
  • Maintaining demand files/folders, Sharepoint portal, search log, and additional supporting resources as needed.
  • Development and maintenance of relevant demand reporting.
  • Responding to demands accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Engaging with various internal and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Providing recommendations and feedback on process improvement.

About The Work Environment
Peoples Group offers a flexible and hybrid work environment. In this role you will work a combination of in-office and remotely from home. Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm with flexibility around start/end times.

Compensation
Peoples Group is pleased to offer employees a competitive annual salary plus a discretionary profit share opportunity. Salary for this position will vary between $55,000 and $65,000 per year depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities and experience that the chosen candidate possesses.
