About the Role
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented
Outside Sales Representative
to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business, managing existing accounts, and driving revenue growth within your assigned territory. You will represent our brand at industry events, deliver tailored proposals, and build long-term customer relationships.
This position requires bilingual proficiency in French and English
to communicate with customers and stakeholders across Quebec and Canada effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate New Business and Prospecting:
Identify, research, and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calls, site visits, and networking. - Manage and Grow Existing Accounts:
Maintain strong relationships with key customers, upsell and cross-sell products/services. - Prepare and Deliver Proposals:
Develop accurate quotes and proposals; present solutions professionally to clients. - Territory Management:
Plan and prioritize activities to achieve sales targets; analyze market trends and competitor activity. - Customer Meetings and Consultations:
Conduct on-site assessments and provide technical guidance and recommendations. - Contract Negotiation and Closing:
Negotiate pricing and terms; secure profitable agreements and ensure timely contract completion. - CRM and Reporting:
Update CRM with leads, activities, and forecasts; prepare weekly/monthly sales reports. - Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of orders and projects. - Industry Representation:
Attend trade shows and networking events to promote brand awareness. - Customer Service:
Address issues promptly and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, account management, or business development.
- Strong cold-calling and lead-generation skills.
- Experience preparing quotes, proposals, and contracts.
- Familiarity with CRM systems.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in
both French and English
. - Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned territory.
