Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced
Site Supervisor
to oversee the construction of residential multiplexes. This individual will play a key role in managing day-to-day site operations and site staff, ensuring quality and safety standards, coordinating trades, and driving project schedules to completion. The Site Supervisor will also work closely with our procurement and project management teams to keep projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

· Site Management

o     Oversee day-to-day site operations for multiplex construction projects.

o     Ensure all work is performed in compliance with building codes, safety standards, and Orchard West quality expectations.

o     Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site always.

o     Manage site staff and labour staff and assign to multiplex project

o     Assist in hiring site staffing personnel in order to scale operation to multiple projects.

Trade Coordination

o     Oversee the scheduling and supervision of all trades and subcontractors on site.

o     Monitor progress and ensure milestones are met according to the project schedule.

o     Resolve site-level issues promptly to avoid delays.

Project Scheduling

o     Utilize scheduling software (e.g., , Fastfield etc.) to track progress and update milestones.

o     Provide regular updates to the Manager of Construction on project timelines and potential risks.

Procurement and Materials

o     Coordinate with the procurement department for material orders and timely delivery to site.

o     Verify materials received on site and manage inventory to avoid shortages or delays.

Financial Documentation

o     Collect, review, and submit all trade invoices for Project Manager approval.

o     Maintain site reports, daily logs, and deficiency lists.

o     Support project documentation for inspections, compliance, and close-out packages.

Health and Safety

o     Enforce and monitor compliance with OHSA and company safety policies.

o     Conduct toolbox talks and ensure all workers follow proper procedures.

Qualifications

· years of site supervisory experience in residential construction, preferably with multi-unit/low-rise projects.

· Strong knowledge of Ontario Building Code, construction practices, and safety regulations.

· Proven ability to manage multiple trades and coordinate complex schedules.

· Proficiency with project scheduling software (e.g., , MS Project, or equivalent).

· Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (multi-site travel required).

·      Working at Heights and other mandatory safety certifications
