Did you know? Since January 2024, J.D. Irving, Limited has committed to reimbursing the co-op fee for students completing their work term with the company up to $1000. 

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment – Support the recruitment process from start to finish, including attracting and sourcing candidates, conducting initial screenings, scheduling interviews, and providing recommendations to Hiring Managers.
  • Candidate Communication – Serve as a key point of contact for candidates, maintaining clear and professional communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Interview Coordination – Work closely with Hiring Managers to coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and manage candidate experience.
  • Employer Branding – Help promote Gulf Operators as an employer of choice by participating in recruitment events and enhancing our presence on social media and job boards.
Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • Education – Currently enrolled in a Business Administration or Commerce program, ideally with a focus on Human Resources.
  • Passion for Recruitment – Strong interest in recruitment and talent acquisition, with a desire to build a career in this area.
  • Communication Skills – Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and Hiring Managers.
  • Detail-Oriented – Strong attention to detail when managing candidate information and recruitment records.
  • Curiosity and Improvement – A mindset geared towards continuous learning and improvement in everything you do.
