We're looking for an experienced and highly motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our team. Our fully equipped, 10,000 sq. ft. facility offers a clean, safe, and professional work environment, along with a supportive team culture and strong focus on safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive systems (fuel, electrical, hydraulic, etc.)
  • Perform routine maintenance and preventative service on vehicles and equipment
  • Use computerized and manual diagnostic tools to assess vehicle issues
  • Accurately complete work orders, part requisitions, and repair histories
  • Interpret and utilize technical manuals and online repair programs (Ford, Mitchell, GM, Dodge, etc.)
  • Test repaired vehicles for proper performance and compliance with specifications
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, following all HSE protocols

Required Knowledge & Qualifications:

  • Completion of high school (or equivalent)
  • Red Seal or provincial journeyman certification in automotive repair (310S in Ontario, etc.)
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract
  • Air brake endorsement or Class 1 license (asset)
  • CSTS and other safety certifications (asset)
  • Comfortable using computers and shop software

Skills & Attributes:

  • Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs up to 10 times per day
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable driving in challenging weather conditions
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented

Working Conditions:
