Job Position: Service Writer

Location: Westbrook Truck Repair, a leading provider of heavy/light truck and trailer maintenance and repair services in Kingston, Ontario, is seeking a skilled Service Writer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and handle inquiries regarding vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Prepare accurate service estimates and explain required repairs to customers.
  • Schedule appointments and manage service orders efficiently.
  • Liaise between customers and our mechanics, ensuring clear communication.
  • Update customers on the status of their vehicles and inform them of any additional work required.
  • Maintain detailed records of services performed and customer information.
  • Provide excellent customer service, resolving concerns promptly and professionally.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in customer service in the automotive industry.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics and maintenance.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in computer systems for processing orders and scheduling.
