Job Overview

As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will be the vital link between our customers and our skilled technicians. Your role will be to ensure that every vehicle service experience is seamless, informative, and satisfying. You will engage with customers to understand their needs, provide expert advice on automotive services, and facilitate the repair process while maintaining a positive atmosphere. Your enthusiasm for customer service and automotive knowledge will drive our success

What you'll do

  • Greet customers warmly and assess their vehicle service needs with a keen eye for detail.
  • Provide clear explanations of services required, including maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.
  • Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition to enhance their experience.
  • Collaborate closely with service technicians to ensure accurate diagnostics and timely repairs.
  • Manage service writing duties by documenting customer requests and technician recommendations.
  • Handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accurate records of all services rendered.
  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.

Basic qualifications

  • Strong background in customer service with a passion for the automotive industry.

Preferred qualifications

  • Dealership experience or prior roles in automotive service department.
  • Experience in upselling services and products effectively to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with auto estimating processes and service writing practices.
