PTW is hiring anIndustrial Painterto join ourteam in Calgary, ABThis is a full-time permanent position on our afternoon shift, with lots of opportunities for overtimeMust be local to the Calgary area or within commuting distance.

A DAY IN THE LIFE...

  • Operates paint equipment and utilizes supplies. Mixes and applies basic and industrial paint as per specifications.
  • Measures paint thickness as per specifications.
  • Inspects final product, ensuring conformance to specifications.
  • Performs daily maintenance and minor repairs of painting equipment.
  • Masks skids for sandblasting and painting. Cleans and prepares skids for painting. Packages skids for shipping.
  • Performs rigging techniques as per industry standards.
  • Operates forklift and overhead cranes to transfer skids and packages throughout shop.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience painting and/or sandblastingin an industrial capacity.
  • Previous experience with water based, epoxy paint and primer mixing requirements an asset.
  • Previous experience with rigging and overhead cranes is an asset.
  • Valid forklift certification is an asset.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

  • Must have own transportation as facility is not accessible by public transportation.
  • Must have CSA approved safety boots
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada.
