About the Role

We are looking for a creative, reliable Marketing & Social Media Assistant to join our team for a 3-month contract. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys filming content, editing short-form videos, and supporting marketing initiatives. You will work from our office at Friday Harbour Resort in Innisfil, a beautiful environment with access to premium amenities.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Film 4–5 reels per day — you will be filming our agents (not yourself)
  • Hold the camera and capture footage as needed, following simple direction
  • Edit videos in CapCut (training provided if needed)
  • Post content to our social media accounts and help with captions, scheduling, and organization
  • Assist with marketing tasks and content planning
  • Prepare and send birthday cards, anniversary cards, and other client touchpoints
  • Support general office administration when needed

Requirements

  • Comfortable filming another person on-camera (no on-camera work required for you)
  • Willing to learn CapCut and basic editing workflows
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and short-form content
  • Reliable, organized, punctual, and able to follow simple filming direction
  • Must be able to work in-person at Friday Harbour (Innisfil)
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-moving creative environment

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Experience filming or editing short-form videos
  • Basic Canva or graphic design skills
  • Interest in marketing, content creation, or social media growth
