What You'll Be Doing:
You will be a welcomed member of the Retirement team, working in a fast-paced environment where you will make a meaningful difference in residents' lives. As a Housekeeper you will do meaningful work everyday ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents'. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.
How You'll Succeed:
Provide Thorough Cleaning within the Retirement Home:
Receive assignments, gather materials, and transport supplies to work area.
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks including:
- Resident room cleaning as per assigned schedule
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and shampooing carpets
- Spot cleaning walls, windows, and doors
- Dusting and sanitizing furniture, shelves, and woodwork
- Emptying wastebaskets and rearranging furniture
- Daily cleaning and disinfecting of bathrooms, including floors, fixtures, and walls
Prepare rooms for new occupants, ensuring they are tour-ready at all times
Provide Resident Privacy and Room Preparation:
Ensure residents' privacy is respected during cleaning duties
- Prepare rooms for new occupants according to prescribed procedures, ensuring they are tour-ready at all times
- Perform any other assigned duties as needed
Who You Are:
- You are compassionate and dedicated to meaningful work that supports seniors in living life fully
- You are detailed-oriented and have and have strong customer service skills and ability to effectively communicate with residents and staff
