**Shifts**: Days (7:00AM-3:00PM)

**Wage**: Starting at $23.17 per hour

- We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic casual _Housekeepers to join our organization. You will be an integral part of a collaborative and inter-disciplinary team focused on delivering exemplary care to our residents._

The Housekeeper will be involved in a variety of work duties related to the operation of support services working under the supervision of the Facilities Manager. Housekeepers will be required to work in core and resident home areas. Other duties may be assigned as required.

**Key Accountabilities & Success Criteria**:
Specific duties will include:

- Cleaning resident’s rooms; washrooms; lounges; public areas and nursing stations
- Dust and wet mop floors; window ledges; high impact surfaces; vacuuming
- Replenish washroom supplies
- Proper use and maintenance of equipment
- Cleaning and stocking; housekeeping unit and closet
- Other related duties as assigned or as required.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous satisfactory work experience in a housekeeping position preferably in long term care.
- Must have a level of physical fitness suitable to perform the manual tasks of the position
- Adaptable to work that involves performing repetitive duties.
- Knowledge of the principles of cleaning procedures, cleaning supplies and their uses.
- Have a general understanding of and a willingness to work in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Infection Control guidelines.
