Class 1 Delivery Driver Yard & Shipping Associate Position Available

Are you a dependable Class 1 driver with exceptional customer service skills? Delcan Building Materials is currently looking for a Class 1 Delivery Driver who will also serve as a Yard & Shipping Associate. In this combined role, you will not only handle transportation operations but also assist customers in the yard.

Responsibilities include loading orders, pre-packing, storing building materials, and maintaining a clean yard. The majority of deliveries are local, ensuring a strong community connection. This dual role offers a unique opportunity to engage with customers directly and contribute to a well-organized yard environment.

Requirements:

· Possession of a Valid Class 1 license with a clean driving record

· Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols

· Strong communication and problem-solving skills

· Customer service experience is considered an asset

· Physical fitness as the role involves lifting and carrying packages

· Deliveries are mostly local, but occasional out-of-province trips may require overnight stays

· Attention to detail and time management skills

· Positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent service
