The Opportunity

New-Line is growing and currently seeking a full-time Counter Sales & Service Representative to join our dedicated team at our Grande Prairie location.

This is a customer-facing, hands-on sales role that requires a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, attention to detail, and clear communication. Working with customers across multiple industries, you will help assess hose applications, prepare quotes and orders, assemble products, and provide on-site repairs and service of New-Line products.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with their hands, learning technical products, and being part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

What You Bring

You have:

  • Knowledge and experience in a similar industry; industrial parts inside or counter sales experience preferred
  • Experience assembling hoses (e.g., crimper, punch lock clamp, or similar) - an asset
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond to customer inquiries, orders, or quotes in a fast, friendly, and professional manner
  • Solid computer skills and the ability to pick up new software easily; experience using technology to ensure accuracy and efficiency (Experience with Sage 300 / Accpac is an asset)
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to analyze customer needs and make recommendations based on cost, availability, and specifications
  • A mechanically inclined mindset - you enjoy hands-on work and can perform product assemblies and repairs while ensuring high quality and compliance with product specifications
  • A passion for learning and continuous improvement; you thrive in a learning environment and are naturally curious (Previous product and industry knowledge is an asset)
  • Excellent customer service skills; you are helpful, attentive, and committed to doing everything possible to "keep the customer moving"
  • Previous warehouse experience (receiving, shipping, inventory, etc.) - ideal but not required
  • The ability to comfortably lift up to 40 lbs. throughout the day and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong team-first attitude; teamwork is core to our organization, and you're always willing to help out when needed
