As a Counter Sales person at Andrew Sheret Limited, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and support at the front lines of our business. This position requires a deep understanding of plumbing, heating, HVAC, irrigation, pumps, filtration, and waterworks products, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to meeting customer needs efficiently.

Starting wage is $24.65 per hour. Wages may be scaled with relevant experience and/or education.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers entering the store
  • Answer customer questions and assist them in making informed purchasing decisions
  • Recommend specific products or services based on customers needs
  • Process cash transactions
  • Inform customers of promotions and sales
  • Keep up to date with knowledge of new and existing products
  • Write up and pull sales orders
  • Put away and organize stock
  • Load and off load vehicles

Essential:

  • Experience in counter sales, preferred, will train the right applicant
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Knowledge of successful sales tactics
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Great time management skills
  • Completion of Grade 12
  • Capable of lifting 50lbs or more
