Jamaican Spiked Patties is hiring a Closing Team Member for our quick-service restaurant located inside Humber College North Campus.

This role is primarily focused on cleaning, dishwashing, and end-of-day closing duties, with some light front-of-house customer service support as needed. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working independently toward the end of the day.

Responsibilities

  • Dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of kitchen equipment and utensils
  • Deep cleaning of front-of-house and back-of-house areas
  • Sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, and garbage removal
  • Restocking and organizing closing supplies
  • Assisting with light customer service and cash support when required
  • Supporting end-of-day shutdown and closing procedures
  • Following food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards

Qualifications

  • Comfortable with cleaning-focused responsibilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced food service environment

Preferred but not required:

  • Experience in dishwashing, janitorial, or restaurant closing roles
  • Experience in quick-service or fast-food environments

Availability Requirement

Applicants must be available Monday–Friday until 7:30 PM.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.56 per hour

Expected hours: 22 per week
