As a Manufacturing Production Planner, you will be working in close communication with management and production team members daily to develop manufacturing processes along with material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination. Location: 200 Avenue road, Cambridge, ONDedicated Day Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday Responsibilities may include:  Develop manufacturing processing procedures including detailed instructions, drawings, bill of materials, and inspection requirements for each projectCoordinate and implement quality control objectives, activities and procedures to resolve production problems, maximize reliability and minimize costs   Manage projects for quality improvements and lean manufacturing   Design fixtures, tools, and material handling devices using SolidWorks to ensure product accuracy and manufacturing efficiency   Revise and update production documents, procedures and drawings implementing engineering change notices (ECN's)   Work with production team members and purchasing to improve product quality   Schedule, expedite, coordinate and monitor the progress of production projects including the delivery and movement of critical material Analyze delays and shortages; communicate production material requirements to meet delivery dates     Skills and Experience:  Graduate of Mechanical Technician / Technologist Program or equivalent   Comprehensive understanding of engineering drawings, schematics and specifications as well as geometric dimensions and tolerances   Detail oriented, precise, and efficient problem solving & time management skills   Experience designing jigs and fixtures   Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse groups of individuals and disciplines   Must be able to adapt to competing demands, frequent changes, delays or unexpected eventsProficient in Microsoft Office and SolidWorks   Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience an asset   Working knowledge of ERP systems   A desire to learn and take initiative to always improve  What We Can Offer You:Family-Oriented Company: Lots of social events, BBQ's, pizza parties and more Competitive Wages and Profit Sharing: In addition to competitive wages, we celebrate our financial success together through profit sharing. RRSP Matching Program: Retirement planning?
