Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test embedded software for microcontrollers and embedded processors.
  • Develop firmware in C/C++, and optimize code for performance, memory, and power consumption.
  • Integrate sensors, communication modules (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, BLE, Wi-Fi), and other peripherals.
  • Work with hardware engineers to design and debug embedded hardware (schematics review, board bring-up).
  • Implement and maintain RTOS-based applications (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr, ThreadX).
  • Conduct embedded system testing, validation, and troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and debuggers (JTAG/SWD).
  • Develop documentation including system architecture, design specifications, and test procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable embedded solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and industry standards (ISO, MISRA, IEC, etc., if applicable).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong experience with C/C++, embedded programming, and microcontroller platforms (ARM Cortex-M, AVR, PIC, ESP32, etc.).
  • Experience with RTOS, low-level drivers, and bare-metal programming.
  • Good understanding of embedded hardware concepts (digital/analog electronics, power systems).
  • Hands-on experience with hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
  • Knowledge of communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, USB, BLE, etc.).
  • Experience with version control systems (Git).

Pay: $59,223.04-$108,723.26 per year
