Requirements
- Sales and Public relation skills are an asset.
- Ontario Certified Teacher (preferred) or University or College Degree
- Candidates in Teachers College or completing their undergraduate degree are also encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication skills & organizational skills.
- Ability to commute/drive to our Centre easily.
Duties
- Interact with the community and promote the Scholars Brand
- Reach out and discuss Value of the learning center.
- Conduct research to identify media opportunities and monitor industry trends.
- Manage relationships with journalists, bloggers, and other media professionals.
- Organize press conferences, interviews, and promotional events to maximize media coverage.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to coordinate campaigns and promotional activities.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on public perception and campaign effectiveness.
- Serve as the spokesperson for the organization during public engagements.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal, Freelance
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 30 per week
