Requirements

  • Sales and Public relation skills are an asset.
  • Ontario Certified Teacher (preferred) or University or College Degree
  • Candidates in Teachers College or completing their undergraduate degree are also encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent communication skills & organizational skills.
  • Ability to commute/drive to our Centre easily.

Duties

  • Interact with the community and promote the Scholars Brand
  • Reach out and discuss Value of the learning center.
  • Conduct research to identify media opportunities and monitor industry trends.
  • Manage relationships with journalists, bloggers, and other media professionals.
  • Organize press conferences, interviews, and promotional events to maximize media coverage.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to coordinate campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on public perception and campaign effectiveness.
  • Serve as the spokesperson for the organization during public engagements.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal, Freelance

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 30 per week
