Job Title: Production Lineside Support Engineer

Location: Calgary, AB Canada (Onsite)

Duration: 6-12 months

Role Summary

Provide on-site lineside production support to ensure stable manufacturing operations, rapid issue resolution, and effective implementation of design and process changes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day production activities through direct lineside engagement
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing system issues, process deviations, and design-related problems impacting production
  • Assess, coordinate, and support implementation of engineering and design changes on the shop floor
  • Interface with Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve production constraints
  • Support problem-solving activities (root cause analysis, containment, corrective actions)
  • Provide technical guidance to production teams to minimize downtime and disruption
  • Support MRB-related activities as needed, while operating with a broader production-support scope

Scope & Authority

  • Broad production support role extending beyond traditional MRB responsibilities
  • Authority to recommend corrective actions and coordinate cross-functional resolution
  • Onshore presence required due to real-time production and system interaction

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of the production/manufacturing environment
  • Experience troubleshooting manufacturing systems and production processes
  • Ability to interpret and support engineering and design changes
  • MRB experience beneficial but not mandatory
  • Strong cross-functional communication and problem-solving skills
