Position: QC Technician

Job Description

Rinker Materials is a leading manufacturer of pipes and products in the United States and Eastern Canada for a variety of infrastructure applications, including drinking water, wastewater, and storm drainage.

Position Overview

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for all aspects of quality during the production of precast concrete drainage products. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Job Types: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

· Daily inspection of all products to ensure that current standards are met.

· Responsible for quality control in all phases of production utilizing established procedures, quality control manuals, and equipment

· Conduct testing and inspection of raw materials and products.

· Maintain records of all quality, test and inspection reports.

· Assist Production Department to correct any quality issues that should arise.

· Support the QC Supervisor during plant certification audits.

· Maintain a safe work environment for employees.

Qualifications

· Post secondary education in a Construction/Civil related field is preferred, but not mandatory.

· Work experience in the concrete industry is an asset.

· ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician – Grade 1 certification (training will be provided)

· Proficient with Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel.

· Advanced problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members.

· Must be comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
