The successful candidate will be trained in assembly, dovetail fabrication, cabinet making and paint finishing. Our client provides Western Canada with high-quality semi custom cabinets.
You will:
Read and understand work orders and other production paperworkDaily preventive maintenance of tool, work area, and equipmentUnderstand the metric systemLifting (up to 50 lbs.)Able to work independently and within a team environmentProduce daily expectations to keep production flow Learn other aspect of manufacturingCoordinate and communicate with coworkers, team leaders and other departmentsPositive can-do, team attitudeFinishing department includes loading/unloading parts on finishing line, sanding MDF primer doors and solid wood doors in preparation for stain Fabrication department includes dovetail and operating machines such as panel and chop sawAssembly department includes assembling prefabricated parts on an assembly line, or at work benches using screw guns, staple guns, operating clamp machine, and other hand tools to assemble and secure partsOpportunities to perform other duties as delegated by management
