About Us:

We are seeking a nurturing and dynamic childcare center dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education. We foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Daycare Program Director to lead our team and ensure excellence in childcare services.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the daycare, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of dedicated educators and support staff.
  • Foster strong relationships with families, staff, and the community to enhance engagement and communication.
  • Maintain administrative records, including staff schedules, enrollment data, and program reports.
  • Monitor and manage the daycare's budget, resources, and supplies effectively.
  • Ensure a positive, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for all children.
  • Address parent concerns and provide guidance on child development and educational programs.
  • Organize special events, field trips, and community outreach programs.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a leadership role within a childcare setting.
  • Valid Early Childhood Educator (Level 3) certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Alberta childcare licensing regulations and Alberta Health Services.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Passionate about early childhood education and committed to high-quality care.
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification and a clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening.
