**Position Overview**:
We seek a passionate and experienced Assistant Daycare Director to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting the Daycare Director to ensure the smooth operation of our daycare and the delivery of high-quality care and education to the children in our program.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Daycare Director in the daily management and administration of the daycare.
- Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance to maintain a professional and cohesive team.
- Ensure compliance with Alberta’s childcare regulations and licensing requirements.
- Collaborate with families to build strong relationships and address their needs or concerns.
- Develop and implement educational programs aligned with the daycare’s Christian values.
- Support enrollment efforts, including tours and parent engagement activities.
- Monitor the health and safety standards within the daycare to create a safe environment for children and staff.
- Step into the Director’s role as needed in their absence.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a childcare setting, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Level 3 Child Development Supervisor Certification (or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of Alberta’s childcare regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire a team with compassion and professionalism.
- Commitment to Christian values and principles.

Pay: $15.12-$19.00 per hour
