Role Description

This is a
remote, project-based contract role
for a
Social Media Content Creator
.

You'll be responsible for ideating, creating, and publishing high-performing social content across platforms, with a
strong emphasis on short-form video UGC
. This role requires you to
appear on camera
and create TikToks, Reels, and Shorts featuring yourself as the on-screen creator.

Projects are scoped in advance and run in defined sprints. There's no expectation of full-time availability, but reliability, speed, and creative ownership matter.

What you'll do

  • Create short-form video content (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) with you on camera
  • Develop hooks, scripts, captions, and visual concepts tailored to each platform
  • Publish and schedule content in collaboration with the marketing team
  • Turn trends, prompts, and industry moments into engaging video formats
  • Create supporting visuals using tools like Canva or Adobe when needed
  • Track performance and iterate based on engagement and retention metrics

Qualifications

  • Proven experience creating social media content, especially
    on-camera video UGC
  • Comfortable filming yourself and speaking naturally on camera
  • Strong storytelling instincts and ability to write scroll-stopping hooks and captions
  • Experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar
  • Solid understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and short-form video trends
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and performance optimization
  • Organized, self-directed, and comfortable working remotely
  • Interest in or familiarity with design, architecture, 3D, or creative tech is a big plus
  • Experience planning content calendars is helpful, not required
