You as a General Foreperson will:

  • Be a working foreperson while leading trade staff to complete jobsite related projects
  • Supervise own force craft labour and continue to mentor and develop the workforce as required
  • Oversee and make decisions related to the performance of work related to scheduling, delivery logistics, quality control and trade employee staffing levels
  • Oversee work among assigned trades to promote a coordinated project operation
  • Work closely with Superintendents to resolve local area problems regarding procedures, precedence, design clarifications, adequate labour & equipment schedule
  • Liaise with other project subcontractors to assist with material movement, scope execution and coordination
  • Assist with the overall site safety and quality programs as required and ensure trade employees/subcontractors comply with standards and all applicable safety codes, regulations and jobsite security
  • Complete and submit time sheets, daily construction reports and required safety paperwork daily
  • Participate in interviews and recommend hires for trades staff

Is this role right for you?

  • Extensive experience (8+ years) in ICI construction and self perform concrete operations
  • Valid fall protection certificate
  • Valid PEWP ticket
