We regularly cover the construction scope of demolition, framing, drywall, glazing, wood and metal doors, ceilings, painting, wallpaper, and venetian plaster. Our primary focus is on commercial, institutional, industrial, and high-end residential projects. **Job Description - PAINTER - NOC 7294**

Apprentice 1 - This is an entry level position, and you will be responsible for the preparation of interior and exterior wall surfaces for primer and paint using effective techniques by following the guidance and instructions of the on-site Foreperson or higher-level Apprentice/Journeyperson.

Apprentice 2 - Perform and lead Apprentice 1 in all aspects of preparing interior and exterior wall surfaces for primer and paint using effective techniques. You will also perform cutting and rolling as well as be responsible for purchasing project related products and materials.

Journeyperson 2 - Perform related duties of Journeyperson 1 and lead Apprentice 1, 2 and 3. Journeyperson 2 should be able to spray lacquer and kitchen cabinets. Must have good communication skills to manage all jobs and meet with General Contractors to review colours, proper paint products and provide colour draw downs for approval from the General Contractors and the designers.

Journeyperson 3 - Perform related duties of Journeyperson 1, 2 and lead Apprentice 1, 2 and 3. Journeyperson 3 should be skilled to manage multiple crews and job sites at one time. Must also be able to manage jobs that have been subcontracted out by monitoring quality control and deadlines.
