Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems and relay orders efficiently to the kitchen staff.
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Manage cash handling, process payments accurately, and perform cashiering duties with integrity.
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and resetting tables to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests.
• Collaborate with team members including hosts/hostesses and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery during busy nights or special events.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems for order processing and reservations management.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that fosters guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively while respecting guest preferences.
• Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and quick calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus for better understanding of menu offerings.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event nights in a lively nightclub or restaurant setting.
