Your role

We are looking for a Renewable Energy Automation Estimator to support the preparation and management of bids for projects in the renewable energy sector, including municipal and infrastructure-related initiatives. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong automation knowledge who is eager to contribute to sustainable and innovative energy solutions.

Main responsibilities

  • Prepare, analyze, and manage bids and tenders for renewable energy projects.
  • Develop accurate project cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and related resources.
  • Work closely with engineering, automation, and project management teams to ensure realistic and competitive estimates.
  • Review technical documentation, specifications, and tender requirements to ensure compliance with project and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and technological advancements in automation and renewable energy.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating processes, tools, and best practices.

What will make you successful here

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • Bilingualism (English/French), as some client resources are available only in French.
  • Previous experience in project estimation, preferably within the renewable energy or clean energy sector.
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Interest in innovation, sustainability, and clean energy technologies.
