The Global Brand Management team is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated Associate Brand Manager with experience in brand strategy, product marketing, and/or live service marketing.
As an Associate Brand Manager on Apex Legends, you will join the team leading cutting-edge launch and live services marketing strategies for Apex Legends. This role reports to the Senior Brand Manager and partners closely with cross-functional teams including Brand Marketing, Product Management, Consumer Insights, Community, Studio, and Creative. You will become the subject matter expert on upcoming season content and build brand and seasonal strategies to brief and guide downstream marketing partners and various player journey touchpoints.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with game teams and cross-functional marketing teams to build brand and seasonal strategies and business goals.
- Ensure product branding, positioning, seasonal strategies, feature prioritizations and audience insights are implemented across in and out of game executions (e.g. in-game messaging, CRM, web, trailers, copy and external partner tactics).
- Conduct ongoing product and competitive marketing analysis to ensure consumer and market trends are informing key brand strategies.
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders across studios, publishing and other cross-functional teams ensuring alignment and accountability (e.g. partner with Product Management to prioritize, request and track events and MTX assets).
- Support execution of brand partnership and activations, provide and synthesize feedback from Apex Legends brand, creative and Studio teams to communicate clear, directive feedback to partners.
- Support innovation with creative thought leadership within the live-service marketing space
What You'll Bring
- Demonstrated success managing multiple, varied work streams and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent follow-through and attention to detail, with an ability to execute given minimum supervision.
- Effective collaboration & communication with a complex matrix of partners across regions.
- Strong business, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Understanding business performance drivers (including quantitative and qualitative data) to optimize strategy and execution across partners.
- An entrepreneurial spirit, with an ability to thrive in less defined problem spaces and comfortable with change.
- Interest in how to take a product or service from insight, to ideation, to market.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree
- 2-4 years working in brand/marketing roles in the gaming industry
- Passion for gaming or entertainment is a must
- Familiarity with live service gaming is a plus

Compensation And Benefits
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
- British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$75,900 - $105,600 CAD
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
