Location: GTA (Head Office-based with store visits)
Job Type: Full-Time

As our eCommerce business continues to grow rapidly, we are looking for a Marketing & Website Specialist to help scale our online presence and support both digital and in-store marketing initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, hands-on environment, thrives on variety, and is excited to grow with an established retail brand embracing digital expansion.
Position Overview
The Marketing & Website Specialist plays a key role in managing our eCommerce operations, website performance, and marketing execution. This role blends digital marketing, website management, eCommerce operations, and customer experience, requiring both creativity and strong organizational skills.
You will work closely with internal teams to ensure our online platforms are optimized, marketing campaigns are executed smoothly, and customers receive a seamless shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
eCommerce & Inventory Management
- Create, update, and maintain product listings across Shopify and third-party marketplaces (Walmart, Best Buy, and others)
- Ensure product information, pricing, promotions, and inventory levels are accurate and up to date
- Upload new products and archive obsolete items
- Coordinate inventory transfers between online and physical stores
Order Fulfillment & Customer Experience
- Fulfill eCommerce orders and monitor shipment status
- Liaise with couriers and customers to resolve delivery issues
- Manage eCommerce returns, exchanges, and refunds
- Provide customer support via live chat, email, and phone
Website Management & Optimization
- Manage and optimize the Shopify platform for performance, usability, and conversion
- Maintain website navigation based on assortment and seasonal trends
- Create and manage promotional codes and discounts
- Optimize landing pages for email, search, and social campaigns
- Monitor website traffic and customer behavior to identify improvement opportunities
Marketing & Campaign Execution
- Support the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns (email, paid ads, social, search)
- Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns to maximize ROI
- Oversee and maintain the marketing calendar
- Create in-store memos, promotional signage, banners, and posters for campaigns and events
- Support seasonal promotions and product launches
Data & Reporting
- Generate and maintain Excel reports related to sales, inventory, and performance
- Clean and organize data to ensure accuracy
- Use analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and operational improvements
- Develop a strong understanding of internal systems to troubleshoot and improve processes
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist with purchase order receipt and shipments (occasional lifting up to 40 lbs)
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in E-commerce, Marketing, Communications, Business, Advertising, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or a related role
- Proven experience managing eCommerce platforms (Shopify preferred)
Communication & Work Style
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Digital Marketing & eCommerce Tools
- Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., Shopify, WordPress or similar)
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Google Merchant Center
- Experience managing Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok platforms
- Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Shopify Email)
- Familiarity with CRM systems
AI & Automation Tools
- Familiarity with modern AI platforms and their practical application, including Canva Magic Studio, Klaviyo, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, , , ChatGPT, Claude, and Midjourney
Design & Content Creation
- Experience with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Canva
- Ability to create basic mobile photography and videography for digital marketing use
Data & Reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret analytics and performance metrics

Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel to store locations across the GTA
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Occasional lifting up to 40 lbs

- Base Salary: $52,000 annually (based on a 40-hour work week)
- Performance Bonus: Up to $6,000 per year, based on eCommerce growth and execution
