Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. This role is essential in providing roadside assistance and vehicle recovery services to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to safety and professionalism. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for responding to calls for assistance, safely towing vehicles, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to roadside assistance calls and dispatch requests.
  • Safely operate tow trucks and other vehicles to transport disabled or damaged vehicles.
  • Perform vehicle recovery operations using appropriate techniques and equipment.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections of towing equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with customers and addressing their needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed, including vehicle condition reports and incident documentation.
  • Assist with minor automotive repairs when necessary, utilizing mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of tow trucks and equipment.

Experience

  • Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
  • Tow Operator License
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic automotive repairs.
  • Previous experience in customer service roles is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus but not mandatory.
