Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely towing vehicles, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring efficient operations. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle mechanics, driving skills, and the ability to handle various roadside situations professionally.

Duties

  • Operate tow trucks to recover and transport vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Respond promptly to roadside assistance calls and assist customers with vehicle issues.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of tow trucks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist with vehicle repairs or minor mechanical troubleshooting when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of all towing activities, including mileage, time, and vehicle details.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively and professionally with clients.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws during operations.
  • Assist with forklift operation or other equipment as needed for loading or unloading vehicles or parts.

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL/ AZ)with appropriate endorsements.
  • Valid Ontario Tow driver certificate
  • Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.
  • 3 years prior experience operating tow trucks required.
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when required.
  • Experience operating forklifts or other industrial equipment is a plus.
  • Excellent driving record with a clean background check.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, or emergency call-outs as needed.
