Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe and tidy lot, cleaning, garbage, snow removal, etc.
  • Take pictures of vehicles, and post them with descriptions online as per written process
  • Keep enough fuel in all vehicles for test drives
  • Making sure all vehicles on lot are in good order, clean, operating properly, etc.
  • Dusting of showroom vehicles
  • Ensuring no empty parking spots in display vehicles on lot
  • Entering vehicles into dealer smart solutions
  • Ensure accurate price stickers in used vehicles
  • New and used car check-in
  • Deliver vehicles as needed
  • Other duties as instructed by management

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Must have exceptional customer service skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to a manual standard transmission
  • Must be an active listener and exercise sound judgment.
  • Good critical thinking and problem solving skills are essential.
  • Must be a good time manager and must be able to multi-task.
  • The ability to follow complex instructions is a plus.
  • Should have ample knowledge of safety precautions.

Experience

  • Previous photography experience is an asset
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean drivers abstract.
  • This is an Ideal position for an Automotive Student or Graduate (Georgian College or otherwise) who is looking for their entry level position into the automotive world

Work Environment

  • Time is spent inside and outside of vehicles.
  • Must be able to work with strong detergents and chemicals.
  • Time is spent working outside in both very hot and very cold weather.
  • Must have required safety equipment.
  • May be required to do some heavy lifting
