Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper handling of linens, towels, and other laundry items within a hotel or hospitality environment. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation. Previous hotel experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and grow in the hospitality industry. The candidate will also be trained as a Room Attendant.

Duties

  • Operate laundry machines safely and efficiently to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest clothing
  • Sort laundry items according to type and color to prevent damage or color bleeding
  • Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including washing stations, drying rooms, and storage spaces
  • Ensure all laundry is processed in a timely manner to meet operational needs
  • Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals and operating machinery
  • Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and report any equipment malfunctions
  • Adhere to hygiene standards and hotel policies to ensure guest satisfaction and safety

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in hotel laundry or cleaning services is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of laundry equipment operation is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, and moving laundry items throughout shifts
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Willingness to learn new skills related to laundry processes and cleaning procedures
