Job Summary
We are seeking a positive, proactive and experienced Dental Administrator with a special interest in Hygiene and Treatment Coordination to join our team This will be a full-time role Monday-Friday with one Saturday shift per month for the Fall/Winter/Spring. When you are scheduled in for a Saturday shift, you will get the preceding Monday off to accommodate work/life balance.
We are a thriving clinic with a diverse patient base and as such, we are looking for someone who is compassionate, detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a passion for helping patients achieve optimal dental health.
Responsibilities
· Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients and answering phone calls and patient inquiries with accuracy and professionalism.
· Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for the office.
· Complete schedule audits.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records.
· Oversee insurance claims and billing processes.
· Coordinate with insurance providers to ensure timely reimbursements and resolve any discrepancies which may arise.
· Submission of referrals and predeterminations.
· Assist with Accounts Receivable and Collection efforts.
· Process monthly payment plans.
Requirements
· 2-3 years of previous dental administrative experience is required.
· Experience with Curve Hero would be considered an asset.
· Strong knowledge of dental terminology to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals and patients.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
· A professional demeanor with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
· Strong organizational skills with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
