Quality Control Inspector

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Responsibilities

• Conduct meticulous inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems.
• Utilize advanced measurement tools including coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify dimensional accuracy against specifications.
• Perform visual inspections to identify surface defects, inconsistencies, or non-conformities in accordance with quality standards.
• Collect and analyze data related to product quality, documenting findings accurately for traceability and reporting purposes.
• Execute quality audits in compliance with ISO 9001,AS9100D, and other relevant standards to ensure ongoing adherence to quality systems.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify root causes of defects and recommend corrective actions aligned with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP protocols.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements such as FDA regulations and ISO standards through detailed documentation and process verification.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing inspection data, identifying trends, and implementing process enhancements.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits, providing necessary documentation and insights to facilitate compliance verification.

Skills

• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
• Strong understanding of quality management principles aligned with AS9100D
• Experience conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions within manufacturing environments.
• Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret measurement data accurately and identify deviations from specifications.
• Familiarity with quality control software systems such as PC-DMIS or similar platforms is a plus.
• Knowledge of quality assurance processes related to manufacturing operations and product inspection procedures. Specially Aerospace Machine Shop
• Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data effectively for continuous improvement efforts.
• Strong attention to detail combined with excellent communication skills for clear documentation and reporting.
