Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Work safely and efficiently
  • Complete required paperwork according to company policies, procedures and protocols
  • Problem Solving and Trouble Shooting
  • Diagnose mechanical/electrical issues
  • Provide quality Repairs/Service/Maintenance on equipment and trailers as per work orders
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment (ie: flame-cutting, brazing and soldering equipment)
  • Installation of accessories and equipment
  • Provide top notch customer service
  • Maintain open communication with supervisor, manager and team
  • Other duties/tasks as required
  • Overtime may be necessary during busy season

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th year Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprentice (must have experience)
  • Familiar with mechanical and agricultural/trailer equipment (farming background would be an asset)
  • Team player with a positive "can do" attitude
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Have a great work ethic and eager to learn new things
  • Reliable attendance record and punctual
  • Good communication skills and willingness to help other team members
  • Ability to safely lift, push, pull or carry heavy products, up to 55lbs on your own (as required)
  • Valid Class 5 License, clean driver's abstract and satisfactory criminal record check
  • Must have own tools
