Position Description

We are seeking an EHS Administrator to manage our WCB claims and modified work programs and provide overall support to the safety team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all Workers Compensation (WCB) claims for current and new claims, minimizing lost time, recovery and return to work.
  • Partner with various teams to create, maintain and update comprehensive Physical Demand Analyses (PDAs) for all roles across the organization.
  • use PDAs to guide injury prevention, claim management, and development of modified work opportunities.
  • Support initiatives to reduce workplace injuries and associated costs.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with privacy legislation.
  • Manage all return-to-work programs:
  • mitigate lost time by ensuring modified requirements are clearly outlined and adhered to throughout the program.
  • dispute or appeal claims, as appropriate.
  • Create reports including claims' history and usage, lost time and industry premium ratings.
  • Assist the EHS team with various projects.
Required Education & Qualifications
  • Previous experience managing the WCB claims process
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Strong proficiency in Excel
  • Previous experience in health & safety will be considered an asset
