Reporting to the Equipment Director, the incumbent plays a key role within the organization, with a mandate to coordinate equipment sales transactions across Manulift's network in Canada. Working closely with the Sales, Financing, and Service departments, this person ensures that equipment is assembled and prepared in accordance with the terms of the sales contract, as well as the client's requirements and timelines.

This person also supports the Used Equipment Manager in various tasks, including creating machine trade-in files, preparing sales listings, publishing used equipment online, and monitoring equipment listings on the web, among others.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify and locate sold equipment upon receipt of the sales contract ;
  • Coordinate the preparation of equipment by the Service Department according to the specifications of the sales contract ;
  • Follow up with the Service Department and the Sales team regarding work progress ;
  • Update and add all relevant details related to the transaction in our P21 information system ;
  • Provide the necessary information to the Financing Department ;
  • Coordinate machine delivery with the Transportation and Sales departments ;
  • Ensure the return of trade-in equipment as part of the sales transaction ;
  • Support the Used Equipment Manager in analyzing trade-in files (inspection requests, additional photos, equipment and customer history, etc.) ;
  • Create used equipment sales listings and ensure their publication across various platforms ;
  • Monitor used machines available on the market and identify good purchasing opportunities ;
  • Participate in various related departmental tasks, including equipment transfers and the preparation of purchase and sales reports ;
  • Perform any other related duties.

Experience and desired skills :

  • College diploma (DEC) or university degree in a relevant field (administration, operations management, logistics, or related) ;

  • Experience in purchasing or sales ;

  • Experience using an ERP system ;
  • Knowledge of heavy machinery or other related fields (trucks, automobiles, etc.) is an asset ;
  • Strong organizational skills, structured approach, and proactivity ;
  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously ;
  • Initiative and creativity ;
  • Strong emotional intelligence.
